UrbanMatters Development Partners L.L.C. builds communities that matter based on our mission to improve the quality of life and strengthen the economic stability of residents and distressed neighborhoods through the development of signature affordable housing and provision of community services. Established by a team of real estate development professionals and Washington Interfaith Network (WIN), UrbanMatters has over 30 years of industry experience. Specializing in real estate and community development, with an extensive track record of successful residential and commercial projects, we bring a community centric approach to each of our developments. As a regional developer, based in the District of Columbia, we have a thorough understanding of the area’s landscape and its dynamic real estate market. Our intrinsic knowledge of local neighborhoods and experience with helping community based organizations leverage resources enables us to develop vibrant and thriving communities.
We provide project management services at a client specified phase of development or we can manage development throughout the entire cycle, from assessment and pre-development through implementation and project stabilization.

UrbanMatters Development Partners L.L.C. is a District of Columbia real estate and community development firm and consultancy. Our experienced and dedicated management team and advisory board employ industry best practices to enable our clients and partners to achieve their goals.
Our team brings experience in every phase of development: planning, financing, construction and asset management. Our experience includes developing over 1,800 units using a community-centric approach in each of our projects.
